Tutorial: Keeping in the Email Loop

A common problem faced by many student organizations is keeping new officers in the loop after a transition. Officers who get a lot done over email may still be receiving emails long after they've stepped down or graduated. A few organizations have developed some great solutions to this problem including:

What I'd like to explain in this tutorial is the third option above, using your organization's engineering login to forward email to multiple officers. Engineering College Computing offices a great tutorial on a couple of ways to accomplish this, the easiest being to use the Windows lab machines' Forward ENG Mail application. Visit any Engineering College Computing lab (like NI1013), login using your organization's account, and follow the directions in the above ECC tutorial.  The neat trick about making sure officer transitions go smoothly is to add this to your tranisition checklist and to setup forwarding to multiple officers (just in case you forget).  I recommend you forward the emails to all executive board officers, but your organization can decide who gets the emails and who doesn't.
Now a couple of you might be wondering, "does my organization even have an engineering account or what's the account's name?" You should be able to visit NI1010, The Engineering College Computing office, to ask a secretary what your username is and how your faculty advisor can request a password reset (sorry folks, they won't just give a new password to anyone since you don't carry around a rocket card for your organization so they will only give it to your faculty advisor).
